Quick Difficulty Question

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Quick Difficulty Question

Post by PaulWRoberts »

What's the difference between "Normal" and "Standard" in the options settings for Difficulty and Combat Difficulty?

Thanks!

No answers for this? As an outsider considering a purchase of this game, questions like this fascinate me.

Is there a 3rd option called average?

Well, the difference is difficulty of play.

The higher "difficulty" is set, the more stuff the AI get (men, food, horses, iron...). What is more, casualties in battles on your side increase with each level of difficulty.

Standard means average losses, average resources for AI and so on...
