How to use the Engineer?
The attack and defense are not high , when I place them alone in the hex , it may be broken down easily by the enemy.[:)]

You use them depending on what kind of teams they incorporate (rail road repair, ferry, engineer), but note that combat units stacked with engineers may entrench faster

imho in attacks they don't contribute much, you may want to use them on the defense

5 AP is actually pretty good.

Perhaps a redefinition of engineers is in order. Combat engineers or sappers and construction engineers. It seems most armies have that so why doesn't the game? Unless it already handles it that way internally. [&:]

Instead of starting a new thread I'll use this one. Has anyone create the data necessary to create engineer vehicles like the AVLB, PMP and other tracked vehicles used to bridge small rivers and antitank ditches?

There is a generic tracked bridge carrier.

I guess we must scrutinize the equipment of the paticular engineer unit to know if they are combat or construction engineers.

BTW, you can make your own bridge laying vehicle if you want.
