Go figure, trailer for the game is about pearl harbor attack and not the game itself.

The game focuses on specific battles and provides a more tactical combat feel. It may be worth looking at as they get closer to completion. It definitely won't be a WITP competitor. No one has been crazy enough to take that daunting task on yet. [8D]

It can in no way compete, and it's not meant to.

Well the graphics won't win any prizes.., and it's a safe bet the "dynamic AI" is the usual moron.
But if it doesn't plunge to WITP-AE's utter grognard level of detail (individual pilots, commanders,
and captains), it might be a more playable alternative.  I'd say wait and see...

I have Strategic Command WW2 Pacific Theater and WW2 global Conflict. Haven't gotten into either yet, but was thinking about trying a PBEM game sometime. I spent hours playing the earlier versions of SC. Fun "beer and pretzels" like game and the AI was pretty decent. It could get a bit crazy at times. I'd find myself fighting in Siberia after being pushed back by the AI.

The WW2 in Europe Series also looks like fun. Got the first 2 games in that series and can't wait till the rest come out.

If it isn't designed by 'Henderson Field Designs' then it probably can't match AE.

Different sort of games. They aren't trying to match WitP. Far less detail and micromanaging. Makes for a nice change of pace.

Well, if Ben Afleck is one of the investors, that you'd tell you something.
