What I'd like to see!!!

Hi everyone,
After doing a few ship sets and playing the game for a while I'd like to see a couple of changes.

1. Pirates and independants not using the ship set I am using. It's my fleet and I want to use it exclusively! I think it cheapens the ship set if everyone is using it. I have never see a load of pirates flying around in a Galaxy class star ship in Star Trek. It can also be slightly confusing sometimes seeing your own ships being flown around by someone else.
2. Why not patch or add a new feature for all the pirates and independants to use the spare ships in each of the "family" folders. This makes sense....And if we know this is the case we can then mod individual ships for these so we do not see any old Tom, Dick or Harry flying around in MY ships!!!
3. Can you increase the number of moons/planets etc images that can be used in the game so we can decrease the chance of repeatability.

I can find myself in The 3 points of Drillerman.
They realy have to add this in the next patch.
 
This would realy add to the content of the game.

Absolutey on points 1 and 2. Point 3 would be nice but not as urgent. I think when playing using mods like Star Wars, Trek, B5, it's a little crazy to see a pirate flying about in a Star Destroyer or a Galaxy Class Starship or even more absurd, a Vorlon Cruiser!!!!

I agree.  I'm not sure why they decided to have so many races stick to just a few ship designs.  Also, I would like more possibilities for diplomatic entanglements.  Multi-lateral alliances would thrill me to no end.

Drillerman, this topic looks like it belongs more in the wishlist thread, but here's an idea, why don't you change the name of this thread to 'The Modders Wishlist Thread'? Now that the DW bugs are being wiped from the game, Elliot might have a bit more time to work on making the game more moddable. *fingers crossed*
