Game freezing

I have version 1.20a and vista >Can anyone tell me why the game keeps locking up during a battle resolution. No error report just sits there and laughs at me. I cant finish the campaign. I restarted 3 times And it happens more now.

Post a save and the moderators can see if it runs on their machines.
