Hi All,
Well, thanks to all the hard work of explorer2 we have a new version. So here we go again.
All comments welcome except don't pass info from here to the Allies.... they don't need any help.[8D]

September, 1939

Poland falls to the might of the Wehrmarcht. (Deja vu?!?) I lost more this try than last... Warsaw stood up to the first assault and had to be attacked again. Oh well.

Started building flak towers again. This time using Berlin's production to make 5.3 at a time. Munich starts making medium tanks.

Upgraded to Guns II, to be able to make Immobile Flak, and built the Porsche Panzer Werks again. Next PP use will be for Inf. II then Hvy Inf. II. Should be by spring. THen we'll wakeup the Axis minors and go to France.... that's the plan anyway.

Subs sortie into the North Sea and spot large RN unit near York (still nervious [;)]) and a lone sub nearby. Return to port with out attacking.

Units moving West. More flak built. Now have 3 SS Md. Tanks.

Subs again scout English coast. Large RN unit still blocking teh way to York but Edinburgh still open and unmanned. I'm not going to lane early again but I hope that my subs constatnly off his shore makes him over react.

Porsche Panzer Werks pumping out Inf. Gun II's for coming battle of France.

Still quiet. Researched and upgraded all infantry to Inf II. Next upgrade will be Hvy. Inf. II probably in January.

Sub patrol spotted RN Home and Channel fleets stationed off of York! Plus troops now in Edinburgh! Gotta love it when a plan comes together. [8D]

Flak umbrella coming together nicely.

Snows here sucking up lots of supplies. Most production is now supplies until spring... hope it's early....

Sub patrol finds RN stack away from York in North Sea, Home and Channel fleets plus some destroyers. Not able to attacke. Also spot troops in York and Edinburgh now. Good.

More flak built.

Sitzkreig continues in the cold. Upgraded all Hvy. Inf to level II. PP's next use for Axis minors... April? Depends on spring really.

More flak built. See map of coverage. All units back up to pre-war strength plus some. Building some more units in case the wiley Wallies try to defend France!

Sub patrol shows RN not moved. [8D]

Hope spring shows up next turn.... really need to stop making so many supplies.

Berlin Flak Tower built. Berlin production turned to supplies and PP's. I need PP's for Hvy. Inf. II.

Sub patrol shows that the RN Home and Channel fleets still have not moved. Also their readiness appears to be down to 38..... maybe I should attack them........?

More troops sent to western front.

March, 1940

Spring is here! This gives lots of time for my forces to recover from winter before the assault.
Will have PP's required to bring Axis minors in next turn.
More troops to Western front.
New subs ordered. HQ setup for conquest of Denmark and Norway.
Sub patrol shows RN finally moved.... but to where? Not York or Endinburgh.......

Invasion of France and teh Low Countries is underway!

Holland and Belgium are out fo the war already.

German Panzers have reached the outskirts of Paris and Calais. Only lost 22 Rifle II's, 1 MG II and 2 Lt. tank I's. The tanks were lost in as assault on the HQ in Calais...[:'(]

Hope to capture Paris next turn.

Lots of reinforcements ordered in case the Wallies decide to make a stand in France.

Fall Gelb continues. Lots of Frenchies escape to England. Maginot line troops make a couple of attacks but get creamed.

We advance into Paris and Calais, destroying an HQ here. French GHQ attacked at Orleans and damaged some. Maginot line assaulted anf killed lots of Frenchies. Can't have them sticking around if the West has played the No Vichy card.

Most all losses replaced... 67 rifles lost 55 built.

RN hanging out near Denmark and destroy lots of supplies. So I attacked them! 10 subs... lost 4 and only killed 2 CA's and 1 DD. Oh well. Oslo has and HQ and plenty of troops now so they are made autonomus so no more supplies over seas. Will use extra supplies that buildup in Oslo to base subs out of Bergen.

Flak production ramped up again to protect my new gains. Also research Divebomber II so started building some of those. Can't deside what to research next - Armour II or Fighter II...

Next turn we'll finish France... I hope... and launch the invasion of Yugoslavia.

Well... he didn't try to get many of the Maginot troops out at all. But I was able to see quite a few "Transfer" messages, in the history replay, taking place at Calais, where I blasted an empty HQ.

Allied bombers, mixed LB I's and II's, blast bridges in Luxembourgh. Only killed 1 LB II with flak. So building next flak tower in Lille. Bridges easily repaired with waiting engineers.

We offered the French the easy way out by setting up a puppet state centered on Vichy.... they refused! So the slaughter continues. Maginot line is cleared of French with little loss on our side. French GHQ is driven into the hills with few troops left. Troops advancing to take coastal ports.

Italians join the fun and try level bombing Marsielle. 5 LB I's go in only 2 come out!!! WTH!!!! The only defenders are 10 Rifles and Coastal battery...[:'(]

Axis minors attack Yugoslavia and take Belgrade. Bulgarian attack in the south repulsed.

Should be able to resreach Armour II in 2 turns.

Building forces for Atlantic Wall defences.

August 2, 1940.

Allies send 11 LB's, mix of I and II, to Hamburg. Flak Tower downs 7! Some damge to city production... delayed the construction of 1 uboat.

French GHQ destroyed with divebombers. Troops taking remaining coastal ports and advancing on Marseille, should take it next turn.
New troops arrive to guard Atlantic coast and battle harden troops strat heading east....

Bismark joins the rest of the Kreigsmarine currently stationed in Copenhagen.

Lille Flak Tower comes on line. next is Paris.

Italian Regis Marina moved to Naples. Sub fleet broken up into 3 parts. Will start interdicting supplies to Malta next turn.

Italian NA troops move towards French NA.

I will have enough PP's next turn to research Armour II.

Axis Minors continue to beat up on Yugoslavian army. Should be finished before summers end.

Fins get first arty to north of border. Hope to get a few there to blast forts.

Not much else happening so no pic.

Nothing to see here.... move along....

5 Allied LB II's bomb Vienna and damage about 1/3 of it's production. Not so bad but they also get lucky and destroy 2 of my DB II's that are there to support the Yugo mission! [:@]

Building more Flak, this time in Prague... Allies getting ballsy with deep strikes.

Building Atlantic Wall garrisons and moving other troops to East. Need to get enough troops in place so that the Russians don't declare war too early...

Marsielle captured.

3 uboats make channel dash and meet a DD II screen across channel. Attack one group and lose a sub but break through screen. They might not make it too far though. So I'm building some Carrier Air II's to deal with the DD's. [8D]

Italian subs picket off Malta to kill supplies and maybe draw out the RN Med Fleet.

Yugo mission almost complete, just some hold outs in Zagreb to kill.

Researched Armour II and started upgrading troops. Next up is Fighter II I think... or LB II so I can research DB III..... too many choices.
