Spring and fall in central NC is hard to beat...usually cool in the am and 80-85 (F) by mid-day. I've even acclimated pretty well to the hot summers...I hate to see them go (except it means that football season is near).

Awww... gee.... what do folks in Nawth Carolina know about football? Most of your greatest players are exported to real Div I programs... [:'(]

I tend to follow pro football the most, especially the polictically incorrect Redskins. I do watch or attend a lot of college games. I have really been turned off by the BIG college programs--Alabama, brought to you by Nick Saban, Gator Nation, THE Ohio State University, etc. I root for the small colleges such as Wake Forest or Navy. They play classic football and manage to knock-off the big boys every now and then.

I'd love to see a Blackhawks/Flyers matchup in the Stanley Cup finals. I'll be pulling for the Blackhawks if it happens...it's been soooo long since they held the Cup.

Naw. This *is* Dan Synder we're talking about. He wouldn't know a successful formula for putting a program together if it came up and bit him on the backside.

I was pleased to see Donovan McNabb leave the Eagles and go to the Redskins this year. He's still a very good quarterback-I think the Eagles were nuts to let him go. So his departure weakens the Eagles. So far so good. Then he goes to the Redskins-a team just dysfunctional enough to obliterate any hope of salvaging the remaining years of his career.

The Redskins are the NFC's Oakland Raiders-where decent free market agents go to die.
