Axis, January 16th, 1941

After evacuating the Soviet industry to the East, the Red Army enjoys almost full production even though Germany occupies significant portions of their territory. The Axis HQ has also to live with the loss of prestige by not being able to capture Moscow.

Once Moscow falls completely, some German tank units will be deployed south to reinvigorate the North African theater.

Axis, March 1st, 1941

The tanks so far tied down at Moscow can be released in time for the '41 summer campaign in Russia and the desert.

I find this AAR the most interesting of all for ToW. Chuck's defense in the East against overwhelming odds, after losing the possibility of lend-lease, Chocolino's relentless, methodical drive, and the very unusual air war in the desert. The latter is a first for any AAR, I believe.

Gary, thank you for the flowers. It has been very enjoyable to play and write this.

The conquest of the USA has given the game certainly a new flavor and opened up options for the Axis that otherwise would have not been available. I admire how Chuck holds things together in the USSR even though it will not be easy to turn things around without outside help.
