New to AT ? post here and say HI

Advanced Tactics is a versatile turn-based strategy system that gives gamers the chance to wage almost any battle in any time period. The initial release focuses on World War II and includes a number of historical scenarios as well as a full editor! This forum supports both the original Advanced Tactics and the new and improved Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition.

Hi - been lurking here for a while now, reading AARs. Wouldn't mind getting into a game myself. Played a few PBEM WaW Revised scenarios already.

Hiya Ehzorg and welcome to the forums and game.
glad your here and hope your figuring out things alright

What do you think of the WaW scenario ?

are there any questions I/we can help you with ?

PS: this thread isnt for looking for a game its to welcome new people and help them get started while urging them to try out some PBEM games because thats where the true fun of AT is at !!
I know I was reluctant to jump into a PBEM game a couple years ago but man am I glad I finally did. I am addicted to them now.

if anyone is looking for a game just post in the Opponents wanted section and watch us old timers jump in.

You should try the ARHS mod against the AI, great improvement on random games against the AI.

@ cmurphy625

Try the north Africa scenario it is a nice small scenario where you get a feel for the supply side of the game without having to think too much about what you have to do.

You have to try and cut of the enemies supply line but also try to protect your own.

That's one of the threads I printed when I first started playing the game (end july 09), there are many other useful threads I would recomend:
Appren's guide to Advanced Tactics
What's the best force structure?
The power of air supremacy
HQs, staff, etc
Have a question regarding HQs
Things I don't quite understand
How to use horses
How to use Scouts
When would you use the infantery gun?
How do you conserve experience

And from the Advanced Tactic Comunity Site: THE FREE BLITZKRIEG STAFF ACADEMY FOR PACIFISTS part 1
