Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Got the game. Haven't really played it yet, but I snapped a few shots of the initial setup of some scenarios. Having read through a couple of books on the Bulge recently, I'm really looking forward to fighting these battles on the Command Ops engine (particularly at this level, since that's how it's often described in the books). Should be an absolute blast.

Bastogne: Tons of units from both sides! Holding the siege for 5 days should be a lot of fun!

St-Vith: Can you break the American defenses and overrun them before they escape?

Schnee Eifel: Can you avoid disaster and repel the German assault?

Twin villages and Elsenborn ride: Can you wither away the German onslaught?

Ertz Noire, Echternach, and the 7th Panzer Armee sector: Can you hold your side of the river?

Two interesting things I found when playing the tutorial scenario as the Americans. The computer warned me when I sent a lone armored unit to secure one of the bridges. Is this new? Was it because an ENG wasn't with it? It took the objective with no opposition anyway.

Then my AI BN commander did a bang-up job of crossing my foot infantry over the river on the right flank using a wide flanking movement under cover. They got over to the main bridge on the other side and surprised the Germans I am sure.

Fun so far!
