Game will not start

First, I am new to the forum and just created an account to deal with this problem. I downloaded BOTB last night and ran the installation this morning. Everything was fine until the screen came up requiring either installation and/or update of three MS programs. I left all three boxes checked as instructed.

Something installed so I hit the next button....nothing happened so I waited and went to breakfast. When I got back all was installed and shortcut was on desktop.

Hit shortcut and title screen comes up with Play BOTB buttons, editor buttons, movie tutorials and so on. Movies work, manual works but game will not start.

Please advise.

Do you see any kind of error message when the game tries to load?

Can you please post a DxDiag for us and could you also please try reapplying the components? You can find them in the /redist sub-folder of your installation. The files to double-click on to reinstall them are dotnetfx35setup.exe, dxsetup.exe and vcredist_x86.exe in that order.
