Enable All Paths Visible in SE?

Post by Juramentado »

Folks,

My "little" scenarios are at the point where I'm guessing incorrectly at where preset paths for opposing sides are starting to intersect. It's becoming a little bit hairy even with the grid turned on for referential help. Is there a way to turn on all preset paths for all units in the Scenario Editor? I'd really like for a meeting engagement to occur at particular points on the map. I realize there's still variability by dialing in multiple start points, but I'm just tempted to put a grease pencil overlay on my screen. [:D]

Thanks!

Yes. Try the Alt+T function and you should see something like this:

Thank you Herman! Is there a place I can look up all the possible key commands please? I've got the full download copy from Digital River so no paper manuals....

Keyboard commands by type and by location available at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.ph ... showcat=12

Some are game engine only

Gents,

I got a little problem - hopefully it's not yours truly. :) ALT-T doesn't do anything in the Scenario Editor. Help please? [&:]

But I am told that the Alt T command should work in 2009.025 and newer versions of the SE. In any event, Tony won't steer you wrong. [;)]

Thanks! That explains it. Time to break out the grease pencils and start an old-fashioned track...

Actually it works in the SE in versions 2009.025 and newer. Here is the releasenotes.txt snippet:

HCE - 2009.025
==============
- Chg:0000 SE Alt-t once again will rotate thru three settings for showing
paths. a) no paths shown, b) selected group path shown,
c) every group's path shown. (thanks Miller7219)

You can get the 2009.042 patch at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?showtopic=2049

The SE screenshot I included was after the 2009.042 patch was installed.

However, if you insist upon using grease pencils, be sure to have a generous supply of White-out(tm) liquid correction fluid on hand. [:)]
