I'm back from my trip and have some combat to report....

Hitler will be getting no oil from my wells....

The operation to push Damp out of the region was a success. It was costly in men for both sides, although I took out a large number of Damp's guns.

I'm going to upload a few more screenshots then we are returning to the front tonight. Both of us are going to try and remember to grab some combat screenshots as well as the normal result screens.

I'm also going to try and provide better narrations to the battles. Hopefully screenshots will make it easier [:)]

Overall Campaign Results

I'm getting the better of Damp by about 50% in most categories. I should have given him the Soviet side to play as he is still learning to play H2H but in the rematch in the regular CoI GC I'll let him take the Soviets.

This is my current battle group as Damp's assault on Stalingrad begins.

I'll make sure to grab a pic of my BG later tonight after we play for a few hours.

Our games got cut short because Damp's internet was acting up. Hopefully this weekend we'll have some more to report!

And I'm always looking for other challengers!

The red line is the route my Marder Tank travelled.....the blue my other 2 tanks.
The 2 yellow marks are where i thought Dundradal would place AT...Keeping a tank close by the bridge to the south.

The blue circle is my marder tank at this point still in one piece.
Having killed of Dun's tank i felt smug..Oh that would not last.
My other 2 tanks now making there way to support my men in the buildings marked NUM 4.
The yellow circle is from where Dun's BG would Bleed me dry.
His pics show his placement around that area.
Most of my men had died trying to keep the (South Building 4.)
You can see the Marks on the roof as (Dun..Toasting) killed my men.
I was trying to take my tank down the ally..at this point i was out of smoke with 1 mortar team & team two got killed :(
My Marder 3 tank did me proud killing off Duns tank..only to bite the bullet later.
I left it in plain view..What a tit !!...I panicked led my tanks down the ally No smoke cover & (Dun...Toasting) Roasted my tank...The T34 was quickly killed after.
It did not take him much longer to finish off the rest of my BG..& after losing my Command Tank + my Gruppenfuhrer it was all over...the fat lady had sung!!

I had a squad of Marines and Sapernaya in those two buildings. They made it difficult for him to cross that alley :)

Reports from the front.

This is from our first game last night. Damp put up one hell of a defense on this map as the battle results will show. I certainly paid for the real estate.

We continue our game..i have been on defence with yet another skeleton BG.

Anyway here is a pic of my BG.
I did kill some of Dundradals tanks..so not a complete loss.

The second battle on the map.

Note the small pockets I'd managed to create. They came at a high cost.
