Difference between COTA and BFTB

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

I have seen this asked several times, but can't find the response any where.

I have seen this asked several times, but can't find the response any where.

3 quick ones I can think of:
-more detailed orders options, including ambush, bypass, and hasty attacks off the march all included
-supply prioritization amongst units, you can set different commands at min, normal or max priority on fuel, ammo & basics independently
-better AI- bridge building routine e.g.
-better handling of retreat/routing units: 'dance of death' is gone, units will stay put more stubbornly instead of jumping out of their trenches to get killed.
-estab editor
-the nebelwerfers sound cool (when they're yours I suppose)
-AA guns will actually defend against airstrikes
-You can set the H-hours for attacks/moves
-pathing tool gives you travel time estimates

ok, that's more than 3

Nope, this time I am expecting you players to teach me the game!

Seriously, I haven't played since becomming a master at the art of blowing bridges while doing the COTA "AI aggression patch" like four years ago. It is said that cannot order bridges to get blown ... well, let's just say that I became very adept at influencing how the dice got rolled. :)

Good to see you again ... although I have spotted you at times over at the AGEOD forums.

I also cover some stuff here, but given that it was written 1 year ago, it is, by no means, definitive.

The biggest change is "Attack at.."

This should be promoted by all concerned but it has been ignored.

You can give orders to each unbit:  move to a spot on the map, form up and then a 10:00 attack.

It means attacks on different parts of the map can be coordinated.

It is sooooo important!  And yet not a mention.

Joe,

Check out my first posted link. I listed it among the top 3 UI improvements.
