Modswap Error

When I go to install a mod to CCCOI, I get the following error message-"Error:Could not install the file cc3.exe into the destination C:\Program Files\Close Combat\Close Combat III\. Installation aborted,"

The modswap on my CCMT works fine. The only difference I can find is CCMT is in C:\Matrix Games while CCCOI is in C:\Program Files. Any help appreciated.

Any more error messages at all?

Do you have CoI closed while running modswap... it won't install if CoI is running.

i am getting the same error trying to load der ost front2...and its not runing! any clues

Is the cc3.exe file missing? You should be able to use the digital (or physical) copy to get another copy of cc3.exe and copy it into your COI dir.

cross of iron runs its just not loading the any mods- failed to load cc3exe. i downloaded the less tanks inf mod just to see if it would load, it failed aswell...failed to load RUTeams...

Try running modswap as administrator

C:\Program Files\Close Combat\CCModSwap.EXE

right click choose run as administrator
