Scenario list?

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Searched but couldn't find anything... is there a scenario list posted anywhere for BftB?

Thanks.

There is a nice map chart (names & locations), I believe done by Richard, in the back of the manual. Perhaps that can be posted somewhere on its own.

For COTA, I had created an XLS spreadsheet with data about the scenarios like duration, number of units, number of VLs ... so that it could be sorted, filtered, or searched. It was the basis of the published table in the back of the manual.

Didn't get the chance to do something similar for BFTB, but it is much easier to do this time around. What made COTA so time consuming was hand counting units. For BFTB, I can get that information directly from the UI.

As I would find that information useful for myself as well, I will consider making such an XLS when I have time.

You can use the Google Earth guide. That lists all the scenarios, their maps and descriptions. Not a quick list, but I'm not sure there's any others knocking about.

I think in some ways they could placate the campaign game buzz by simply presenting the information already included in a more coherent manner. There's a nice map in the back of the manual with the scenarios called out. There's also a 4 page overview in the same appendix. What if the initial scenario selection screen had this map, and the buttons on the map were active and pulled up the description and took you to the scenario? It's not a big thing, but would serve to orient the new player. A rudimentary campaign game could be constructed by playing the scenarios sequentially. Say play all the group one (see attached) scenarios with standard reinforcements, and keep a cumulative score. Then you move on to group 2, but say the forces/supplies are adjusted using the Favor Axis/Allies buttons already existing in the scenarios, depending on how well you did for group 1. So say you kick mucho butt in the group one scenarios, then you play all the group two's with Favor (your side) on, and the other side at Standard still. Total all the scores for the group two scenarios, and play group three with the OOBs adjusted again depending on how you do.

This could probably be scripted in without a huge effort, couldn't it?

Obviously, it's not as good as a huge map-all-on-all-don't-forget-replacements-and-other-strategic-factors comprehensive campaign, and it's not really realistic, but it would help tie everything together.
