Device Accuracy

Post by topeverest »

What is the valid range of device accuracy for AA weapons in the editor...The low is 0 but the top of the scale is above 100. Is it a 1000 point scale to equal xx.x%? Please advise.

127 as a maximum value is common when using an 8 bit signed integer to store the data....

(One day I will learn to spell - or check before posting....)

Most "accuracy" checks in game are made against a random(100).

There are a number of modifiers to the device's editor accuracy value depending on what the device is.
I suspect that this is due to what 'accuracy' might mean in different circumstances or for different types of devices.
