Flying mine spotters....

Post by jleknes »

It's really genious that strike planes spot the mine fields :D
...not that genious for the defender though.

Is it impossible to fix this most annoying bug?

Never had that happen to me.
Were these mines placed before or during the game?

Placed before the game.
A 1943 Citadelle 20k vs 20k assault/defend battle and
in Bagration 1944 20k vs 12k assault/defend.
Using V7.1

Both sides could spot the mines as the strike planes flew over.
Seen this before as well, but never really bothered with it, but it's very annoying and difficult to play a good battle when it happends....

A small bug in the game related to spotting of enemy units being revealed as fly overs occur also. It was a limitation of the game, fortunatly mines spotting occurs much less then enemy spotting. A minor annoyance we all have to live with.

A Bird's Eye View?

Maybe that aerial view allows for better contrast to see the 'bumpy' mine fields.

Specially equiped metal detectors attached to the underside of the airplane. Something I sure someone experimented with during WWII.LOL:D
