Rise of Rome will not install.

I installed FOG, then updated to 1.2.1, and then tried to install Rise of Rome.

It says it won't install because I don't have 1.2.1 installed.

I start FOG and it shows in the lower left hand corner of the splash screen that I am running 1.2.1

So what do I do now?

I think that there was a problem of mixing Matrix and Slitherine patches. There is a proper order to do them. Check out the Slitherine forums. I think that there is a thread on the right way to install the patches/add ons!

I purchased FOG and expansions directly from Matrix.

So I have installed, 1.2.1, and 1.25, and I'm downloading 1.26 and will install that. I will then try to install Rise of Rome and see if that works. I will let you all know, because I know you have nothing better to do than worry about my problem. [:'(]

Yes, the add-ons look for 1.25+. Install the 1.26 patch then the add-ons will install.

Ok everything is up and running.

Installed: Field of Glory followed by ---->1.21--->1.25--->1.26

I don't know if 1.25 was necesssary, but that was the process I used. Thanks for the help Tony and DAS123.

I also had installed 1.25 then read in one of the posts that 1.26 included 1.25. [:)]
