Would it be fair to say that this game is in a similar vein to the Commander Series in gameplay and complexity?

After plenty of time with the beta, I am finding that it is similar to Strategic Command Global, in complexity and accessibility. I am finding that I prefer the land combat in SOTP over SCGC.

It is a good time to be a world war 2 strat gamer. [:D]
