Game Hangs at EDBTR Screen

The basic options screen comes up, but when I select "Play" the computer works for a second or two, then pops right back to the EDBTR small screen. Windows XP. Only Spyware Doctor in the background. Did a Reg Clean without effect. When using the "quick exe" program, the same thing happens. Any ideas?

I can now load BTR by clicking the icon in the BTR program folder, so I can play
Other problem still exists, but now not a crisis hehe.

Try renaming the intro movie - we've seen a couple of systems that won't play it. Usually it's ffdshow or some other media manager to blame.
