Could someone give me some infos plz

Post by Rising-Sun »

After reading the booklet several times and cant find it, would like to know what does orange and green on number on airgroup chart, i figured green is improving of that skill, but orange? Wasnt sure if this will show on other units such as ground and naval commanders.

Really need some infos on how much does it cost to repair ports, airfields, etcs for each points. Already found 1,000 supply for industry if the base have at least 10,000 supplies.

Green is the skill increase that day, orange is skill increase that month.

I believe repairing airfield and port damage doesn't take any supply at all. Not 100% sure on that though.

Ah thank for the inputs, im sure it will required supplies to repair those ports and airfields, plus you need engineers to do it. Otherwise it will take forever.

And yet it was ever so in classical WITP and remains so in WITP:AE.

And I'm sure Alfred, you'd probably agree that it should change ... but now of course you need engineers to do this now - iirc whereas in witp no such requirement was needed.

Agreed, I would prefer if supply was consumed in the process of repairing ports and airfields. But to my POV that is really a very minor issue.

Of far greater importance, IMHO is the cost and repair rates on industrial and raw material facilities. I don't expect that to ever be revisited so I make no point in voicing any views on the subject.

If the issue is really about what is realistic in terms of time/cost of repairs, then that (industrial facilities/raw materials) is far more significant in my POV. In practical terms that is an issue that would most concern a Japanese player, but the Allied player is not totally immune. I understand why some players have a HR preventing strategic bombing in China but I am never quite comforatable when I see that HR.

Green is the skill increase that day, orange is skill increase that month.

I think that skills can also decrease, so colours mean that skill have changed. Obviously skill increase happens more often.

you also needed engineers in WITP. There was some special rule about abstracted repair by natives at very small airfields but I never noticed that.

repairs to port/af cost nothing.

But having your opponent having to constantly repair these facilities means he's not increasing port/air and fort sizes since these will not progress while there is damage to them. [;)]
