Bitter Glory

The creators of WW2: Time of Wrath move to the Pacific theater with Storm over the Pacific. Depicting the epic conflict between Japan and the United States, players choose from 26 available countries with historically accurate orders of battle including land, sea and air units and leaders. Concentrate on directing one country or command several to lead an alliance of nations. Engage in battle over the vast Pacific with 16 unit types modelled with an intuitive supply system and more.

Sorry but just have to ask this. This may help my purchase decision.
Is Bitter Glory a combination of Storm and Time of Wrath?

I'm not one of the developers, but I've read several posts in which they say that Bitter Glory is an entirely different beast.

Bitter Glory is a completely different design and engine.

Both games are stand alone projects. Different engines (turns vs. real-time), different designs, however the same team. Also it is worth to notice that development of BG had stared (2006) before we had first contact with ww2 engine (TBS games like SOP).   BG is something like lighter WitP with cover of whole world mixed with HoI and with a hint of feelings like in Civilization or Master of Orion, SoP is more like CWiE or SC but with extended focus on naval issues.  

btw Gary,  “beast” is a very good word, I find as it very  appropriate.
