Wrap It Up, I'll Take It!

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

But the fact is that if you bought RTV you get TOW for free.
So I think that the deal was a good bargain?
Yes indeed it was. Should we instead of expansion get repacked TOW which would be free for those who bought normal TOW... well, that would be a very nice deal indeed.

So you would like to get three games at the price of one.

No, I said free for those who bought ToW not RtV. Giving it free to the latter would be great of course, but probably an overkill from a business perspective. Anyway, as I said before in this thread - I would gladly pay for improvements to the game (i.e. expansion) but not really at a full price of the game (re-edition)

I know you do... I do not buy many games, and one of the reasons why I bought ToW is the the way developers approach customers. :)

An updated re-release of TOW might make a few sales, but I'd say a Wastelands Mega Pack option with Storm Over the Pacific and an updated TOW (in the same package) might sell better.

I'd think it could improve sales of the new release too, being mutually beneficial. Besides owners of TOW being less stingy about paying a few extra dollars along with SotP to get the new ToW.

I would go for this. I have been on the fence with this one for a while, but would go for this.

If you get SoP right I think you could have a mega franchise here. The ability to mod will keep this series going for a long time. What's not to like hexes, large colourful map that you can customize, good basic rules (always room of improvement), CRT based combat (not YGIG), special events (you must explain them better...work, work, work,?), understandable tech trees etc.

All in all just a thoroughly enjoyable game system that will be easily modded.

Is there any significance in using the term "gold master"?

Or is it just an industry term for "By George, I think we've got it"?

Having read about all the new features you are developing for Storm Over The Pacific.

I would like to let you know that if they can be made to work for ToW as an expansion pack or add-on.

That would be something I would be willing to pay for.

Very tempting...

Joy to the world, SOP is 1 day old

My compliments to all those at WI who had a hand in delivering the newest addition to the fold.

Since Anraz has been using this thread to keep us updated on SOP, I thought I would ask if my original idea has moved beyond tempting?

I realize that just because something can be done, does not mean it will be done.

I just wanted to remind you my wallet and I are ready, anytime you are.
