Yes, well, last time I took place in a PBEM battle the above wasn't the case, so this must have been a recent fix... 1.06+?

Yeah Mantis issue #67, pbem anti-cheating measures, fixed in v1.06. For those paying attention to what's happening...

1.08 has the final fix to stop cheating in PBEM battles. In 1.07 you couldn't see the attacker's chit pick before the dice were rolled, however it was possible to load a 1.07 game into 1.06, take a look at the chits, then pick the defender's chit in 1.07. A 1.08 game will not load into 1.06.
