convoy questions

convoy questions

I am trying to grasp the convoy system. I think I understand the supply needs, but when would I want to use the PP convoys? Do you need to form a convoy to get PPs' from your conquests, or are they automatically added? Are convoys using my STP points? Should I leave the initial convoy list alone? Does that list have all the convoys I need at start? Can a city,like San Francisco, use its supply for unlimited ports? Lots of questions, some hints or guidance would be welcome.

You don't have to transfer PP inside your own country.
This feature is used to transport them between different countries. You might want to end some PP from USA to Philippines, as it is much easier for Philippians to create and maintain their forces (they can reinforce their troops to 100% during one turn).

Also every port has limited capacity to send out supply and PP.
