Would like to see the Jordan conflicts, my wife is working there some, and they seem to be the Finland of the middle east.

Hope to go soon, on a trip there.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by Finland of the middle east? :)

Regarding the second part of your question, yes, the Cobra will be available for the Americans in the Vietnam portion of the game and the Israeli's in the Middle East portion of the game.

The United States will have the following Cobra's with different weapon packages, each with a unit graphic as shown below:

67 1 85 12 AH-1G Early Cobra , AH-1G(4H) , Cobra
66 1 85 12 AH-1G Early Cobra , AH-1G(2L2H) , Cobra
71 1 85 12 AH-1G Late Cobra , AH-1G(H2LG) , Cobra
71 1 85 12 AH-1G Late Cobra , AH-1G(2L2H) , Cobra
71 1 85 12 AH-1G Late Cobra , AH-1G(4H) , Cobra

Just out of idle cuiriousity, will the Chinese Invasion of North Vietnam be covered? I remember something about it on the news, circa, 79-81 time frame...i honestly cant remember.

this was during my party days...but i do remember something about 100,000 Chinese "Milita" invading a few provinces in the North. CBS news reported it for a little while then things died down.

While the primary focus is the Second Indochina War (the US involvement, there are a few scenarios that also deal with the First (French) and Third Indochina Wars (China).

Jason which wars are covered in Volume II?

The plan is...

NATO vs Warsaw Pact (which will include a number of conflicts: Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Grenada, Falklands, Afghanistan and a number of hypothetical Cold --> Hot type scenarios; Cuba, Middle East, etc.)

Modern Korea

Africa (various African border wars)

I am writing the manual at the moment. It's a HUGE, HUGE task in itself.

Apart from that,

... I have a few scenarios left to build and test for the Middle East that deal with Jerusalem in 1948 and 1967.

... another linked campaign for the Middle East to build and test.

... a few scenarios to build and test dealing with the First Indochina War for Vietnam.

... a linked campaign for Vietnam to build and test.

... a few video tutorials and bootcamp scenarios (with write-ups).

... overall functionallity test.

That's it.

When those are complete, the game will be ready for release as the 1.00 version. As I have mentioned many times before, this will be a living game, so will be UPDATED with additional units, organizations, campaigns, scenarios and features as time goes forth - same as we are doing with the Matrix Campaign Series.

Hope that helps

No, my mistake.. that will be part of Volume II as well as a stand alone game.
