Download Consumer - Needs to Reload

Post by fjaloma »

Hey Guys,

I was playing a PBEM session, acutally just starting turn 2, and I'm getting some wild Fatal Error 99 message. The reuslt is WITPAE will not load.

Can anyone point me to the correct procedure for reloading this game? I purchased a "download" version and do not have a physical copy of WITP AE. Has there been a post on this process in the past? My searches have come back empty.

I have my serial number and purchase information handy as proof of purchase.

Thanks,

Frank

Question:
How do I download My game again?

Solution:
If you have bought the game from our online store you can go to our E-Store at http://www.matrixgames.com/store.asp and click on "Store FAQs", once there check the "How do I re-download software that I have purchased?" link. Or go to http://www.findmyorder.com/ and
enter your order number and the password used or your email address and
the last 5 digits of the credit card used in purchasing the item(s).

And after you retrieve it, I suggest retaining the download module on your disk AND saving it to a backup disk AND burning it to a DVD that you can put in the drawer (while saving your seriel number in your wallet, on your disk, and on a slip of paper by your bed [:D])

Best is to put the downloaded file on a CD and then to write the serial number on the CD (using a special pen to write on CDs).

Another option is that after you install WITP-AE, a file is created in the games root directory called serialreg.txt. This file has your serial number in it. I would suggest that you add this file to your CD.
