Motorcycle and sidecar questions

Suprised there isn't a version that comes with an MG on the sidecar...or have I watched to many films? I'm sure it's mentioned in Meyers memiors...I do know they rushed a russian village on their bikes all guns blazing....

Also has the motorbike icon been changed back to a troop carrier or is it still there? If so why isn't it used in the Est aswell instead of the carrier?

Meyer's memoirs did indeed paint an appealing picture of the intrepid kradschutzen.

However, the motorcycle recon troops took such horrendous losses that the German Army phased them out not long after the invasion of Russia. While I'm sure there were still a few machine gun equipped side cars around in '44 they were not part of the standard estabs of any active recon units by then.
