FOW for A.I.

The creators of WW2: Time of Wrath move to the Pacific theater with Storm over the Pacific. FOW for A.I.

Question
In the Australia Scenario, my defending Aus troops were taking a battering from aerial strikes, by planes I could not see. (FOW set to 3 hexes). Does the A.I run with FOW on to match my setting or does it run with FOW off?

Good question,when the AI moves, sometimes you can see a red circle. When you do that is were they send their scout plane.

Also noticed that the border draw mode can somewhat negate FOW.
You can't actually see the units, but you do see the front line creeping closer.

Well you pretty much know where the enemy is and how far they have advanced.
We are not aware of the strength.

Sometimes my air units can be ordered to bomb and a red circle appears at empty hexes.
Then I send an attack then I get to see the enemy unit after.
