another industry question(s)

Post by kanibal »

1. As japan if I were to upgrade a size 40 nate airframe factory by 10, would the entire factory cease output until the new 10 points finished repair?

2. If I were to change that same size 40 nate factory to produce tojo airframes would the entire factoy be damaged, hence needing repair? Each following day as 1 point is repaired would I produce airframes from the repaired portion of the factory or would the whole factory cease production until completely reapired?

Thanks,

Kanibal

Yes. Assuming you have >10k supply in the hex, one point is repaired per day. Production starts as long as any of the factory is repaired. Keep in mind that for planes and engines, you're looking at monthly production, so you may not see production for awhile. A size one factory will produce, on average, one item per month.

Edit: Also note that when you change the airframe type, you lose ~1/3 of the factory, so in question 2, if you change the size 40 Nate factory to a Tojo factory, the factory size will reduce to (about) 27 or so.
