Missing land and air units after modifying scenario

Post by cbelva »

I have been checking out scenario editor. I copied a scenario (pacific campaign) to another folder and tried to edit the scenario. I added a few extra land and air units for fun. However, when i opened the scenario if found that there were no land or air units on the map for any country. I checked the .csv file for air units and found the column for setting the turn available was blank. The column in the land_units.csv file for turn available is totally missing (it is present in the original scenario).

I checked the scenario editor. You can set turn available for naval units, but I do see an place to set it for land/air units. What am i missing.

Thanks

No response to my previous post. Has anyone else had success with placing additional land and air units using the editor. I tried it with the new version and had the same results. When I add new land or air units to an existing scenario, it wipes out all land and air units on the map. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. Thanks for your response.

You are right. It seems that some data of the new units is not properly stored (or maybe I am also doing something wrong).

Right now, I manualy edit the land_units.csv and air_units.csv created by the editor.

The new units are there, with their coordinates; I copy the other data from a similar unit.

That is exactly what I am finding. But it also erases the data for old units in editing existing scenarios. In fact it totally deletes the column on the land_units.csv for "Available in turn" (not in the air_units.csv where it just deletes the data).

Hi, I'm programmer of this editor, and I'll check and correct this error.

I found and solved a problem. In the next version of editor there won't be any problems with land and air units.
