Vehicle errors?

OK, now trawled through the vehicle data in the Estab editor and have found the following.

SdKfz 222, 223, 232, 233, 234/1, 234/2 and 234/3 all have a Fuel Capacity of 240 litres. However, all have a Bulk Fuel Capacity of, a rather surprising, 9000 litres (except the 234/2 which shows zero).

The motor scooter, motorcycle, motorcycle with sidecar, le PKW and s PKW have Max Gradient set to zero. By contrast, the bicycle and Kraftomnibus have a value of 20.

Most vehicles have a Weight and Battle Weight set to the same value (e.g. Achilles Mk IC both 30000 kg), some have a higher Battle Weight value (e.g. M24 Chaffee, 15000 and 16470 kg respectively) - these I think are correct. However, the Weight value of the M10 and M18 TD is 28800 kg whilst the Battle Weight is lower at 16765 kg - this seems odd.

The rest are fine.

One last one - the Humber LRC Mk II shows the wrong image (looks like a Humber Mk IV AC). Also I think that the vehicle should be listed as the Mk III or more probably the Mk IIIA (introduced in 1942 - B. T. White, Tanks and other Armoured Fighting Vehicles 1942-45, Blandford Press, 1975, pp. 131-132. ) which both had 4x4 capability (the Mk II was only 4x2).

Did you notice the "TAKE COVER MOD" (hull-down status for deployed vehicles)?

At least 90% of them are our old friend from RELIABILITY, the value 1.004883. A few are 1.0, and there are couple of odd-balls, at 0.014893. Perhaps, that value means something completely different from the description.[&:]

I'll take a look at all these, some of which have no bearing on the game (yet) and some I'm not sure about.

Talking about the bearing on the game...

What do vehicle troop & towing carrying actually mean, in game? If a unit with 20 personnel and speed set at notmal/max 30/40mph and two vehicles each with troop capacity of 9, crew 1 ... does the loss of one vehicle to enemy action result in the loss of one man, the driver, and the reduction in speed of the whole unit to the walking speed of the 9 extra men? or do the 9 extra men evaporate with the transport? Ditto, If the unit had two AT guns, say, of 2000kg each, and each vehicle's towing capacity was 5000kg, would both guns be "towable" with only one vehicle?

Without vehicles to "tow" weapons are infantymen able to haul the guns, and up to what weight?

OK fixed all of these, including the image for the Humber LRC Mk II (it was a Humber MkII AC) and added image for Humber Mk IV AC.

Troop capacity and towing are not activated in the game yet. The loss of a vehicle will lose the crew usually but I'm not sure about the fate of mounted passengers. Loss of vehicles will not change the speed of the unit, that is further down the road. Arjuna can shed more light on this stuff when he get's back next week.

How do the other vehicle parameters, such as physical dimensions, fording, trenching and max gardient work, if implemented?

Or could all these data fields be greyed out so can't enter info into them if you check a "grey out all unactivated field" option somewhere in the estab editor?
