Just like to thank you guys for the upcoming 3.4 patch. Paradox Interactive would call it an expansion and charge us all $19.99. You guys give it to us for free. I'm sure that's greatly appreciated by all of us. A tip of the hat to you.

Very cruel (and sadly true!)

Also I want to say thanks, and look forward to TOAW 4 ;)

Incidently, why did you post a thanks, have they made an announcement, or are were giving them encouragment?

Just got done going through the Paradox site and all the 'expansions' for their various games for $20. After you read the new features you realize the patch we are getting for TOAW is the same thing but for free.

I know about Paradox, its one of the reasons I have pretty much stopped buying their games until they are in the bargain bucket (which on Gamersgate is never).

Exacly what is the new patch going to contain for me. I know the alpha graphics look great, finally I can spot an airfield. Other than the Ipad stuff what else will be cool. Sorry for the laziness, I just don't feel like going back through a half a dozen threads. BTW, it is great that people who own an Ipad will get a great screen. I may have missed it but currently the game only takes up about 3/4 of my PC screen. Is there anyway I can get it to utilize all of the visual territory I have. It would be great if that was possible.

i have a 1920x1080 display and it takes up the whole screen. I am running Vista and normally it takes up 3/4 of the screen, but run in XP compatibility mode and it takes up the whole screen.

Second reason for using XP compatibility mode combat resolution won't crash. This problem i somtimes got while using vista / win 7 instead of XP compatibility mod. Otherwise it may appear that i miss alls the reports :(
