Damaged plants not registering in scoring summary

Post by ool »

Under list targets in the BOB 1940 campaign aircraft factories the damage level is listed as zero. Yet I have severely damaged four aircraft factories in the Poole Harbour area. In the summary under list targets these factories aren't listed and not points awarded for damage to them.

Recon and check the FACs - if they have dispersed the factory types will be FAC not EFAC/CFAC/AFAC.

This means they are no longer counted in the factory type summary, as they have been destroyed.

If this doesn't appear to be the case, send me the turn via PM, with the FAC ID numbers so I can see what you're seeing.

You are correct. They are FAC. Don't remember reading that in the manual. However there is so much there maybe i missed that. So are these factories then reconstituted elsewhere in Britain after a time?
Thanks for your time. Have a good July 4th.

Yes, sort of. They will have already dispersed to another location or locations, which will be on about a month's delay. They may not be visible on the map as yet.

The game will not set a damaged factory back to the "fac" status unless there is something to disperse to. If it can't disperse, it just stays on the roster till it repairs.

July 4 means as much to us Aussies as it does to you Canadians.

:P

but yea, what he said

for the BoBs, most of the times some of the Arm Factories will change over to what is needed, so if a AFAC plant gets crippled one of the ARM plants will become a AFAC to take over the load
