Having a hard time trying to find out just what factories do. How many should the North build?

BUild, build and build!!! All the areas with 2 factories, except Cairo maybe, build a factory from the get go. If you don't you'll run out of supply by mid 63'.

For the CSA build also. But not on the coast.
