Few more questions.

Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem is a highly enhanced new release of Close Combat, using the latest Close Combat engine with many additional improvements. Its design is based on the critically acclaimed Close Combat – A Bridge Too Far, originally developed by Atomic Games, as well as the more recent Close Combat: The Longest Day. This is the most ambitious and most improved of the new Close Combat releases, but along with all the enhancements it retains the same addicting tactical action found in the original titles! Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem comes with expanded force pools, reserve & static battlegroups, a troop point buying system, ferry and assault crossings, destructible bridges, static forces and much more! Also included in this rebuild are 60+ battles, operations and campaigns including a new enhanced Grand Campaign!

What does the differance in the number of little men in the BG image(in the custom battle maker) mean?

Is Panzer Company Miekle w/ it's Pz III and Pz IVs in the game(attached to KG Knaust)

This company was part of the 6th Panzer Replacement Regiment ‘Bielefeld' tank driving school in Germany. It consisted of six Panzerkampfwagen III and two Panzerkampfwagen IV tanks

Panzer-Kompanie Mielke entrained in Bielefeld, Germany and moved to Elten via Zevenaar, where the Headquarters of the company assembled with Knaust's ‘Bocholt' trainee Panzer Grenadier battalion. The quick organisation and movement of these two units allowed Knaust to report to the IISS Pz Kp HQ at 0400h on the 18th September 1944. Whilst the infantry could be employed that same day, the tanks of Panzer-Kompanie Mielke would not arrive until the 19th September 1944 due to constant allied attacks on the rail system.

still I'm a newb, I've only played 4 H2H games, and 2 solo. Finally blew a bridge for the first time yesterday, which I saw the graphics for that was cool.

The number of men in each BG icon on the scenario editor screen represent the battlegroup echelon. The sizes are approximate vs the r/l counterparts.

1= battalion sized battlegroup.
2=regiment
3=brigade
4=division

small tank = brigade
large tank =division

The sizes are approximate because in some cases the representations are somewhat abstracted to work with the game engine. But it gets you an idea. Between that and the list of units on the SE screen you can get a pretty good idea of that BG's strength.

Steve will have to react about how he set-up the OOB's.

Yes, these tanks are included. I would have to double check the data but I believe they become available in KG Knaust's force pool sometime on Sept 19 or 20.

Note that the number of teams in the force pools are scaled to about 1/3 the actual (historical) strength. So there will be something like 2 Pz IIIs and 1 Pz IV available, depending on difficulty settings.
