So should ive buy this?

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Well, I have both games and only play this one, so that probably tells my opinion. [:D]

EiA does have a lot of great features/rules that I wish were in CoG though. A big difference between the two is the streamlined pbem play of CoG. Has a multiplayer game of EiA ever been completed? [:D]

Now if only CoG would enable the input of external results for battles...

Since I only play solo is the multiplayer the only real difference for you?

Oh there are quite a few differences between the two, but I can't answer which is "a better product" as that is purely subjective and matter of opinion.

I'll let someone else comment on the singleplayer aspect, as I spend a limited amount of time with that (for any game) as a learning tool.
