Salvage error in 1.0.5.8

Was salvaging abandon ships in a large field of them. Two other factions were present in the field, but neither of them had constructors present when the bug happened. The bug was, upon finishing repairing some of the ships they would join the other factions present. This would not happen all of the time, but it happened more than not (they received more of the ships then I did).

Same thing happened to me but the other way around.  Combat ships claim the wrecks faster than Constructors, but the Constructors are the ones actually fixing them.  Upon completion ideally the wreck should belong to the faction that fixed it.

In my game there were two opposing factions repairing wrecks in a debrit field and I had a fleet of 5 Destroyers there.  When the AI repaired the wrecks they were automatically given to me, i claimed 4 or 5 Capital ships this way.

This issue has already been discussed several times in this forum. Repairing a ship does not claim it. You only get an abandoned ship in good state. What enables the claim is a ship with proximity arrays, that most ships are equipped with, but not the default constructors. To ensure you get it, you have to get the equipped ship nearer from the abandoned ship than the enemy, or equip your constructors with proximity arrays.
