Ready, Set... Hold on

Post by AH4Ever »

My new scenario is ready to go, but I would like to include a Map Skin that puts it over the limit for uploading on the Matrix forum.

Is there a kinder more gentle site for uploading?

Both Rapid Share & Mega Upload seem to be more trouble than they are worth.

Then there may still be the WI option that could be linked back to here.

Thank you all in advance for any suggestions you might offer.

Could you not post them as separate attachments in two, or more, posts, scenario in one post and map folder in a second, etc.. Looking at your map, Blitzkrieg rulz. [:)]

The Map Skin that is the culprit the .png files don't really compress when zipped.

I can host it for you, but maybe you would prefer to wait for 1.03 with the official release.

Did I mentioned there is a feature that allows to include units images customized for scenario and even for specific land unit?
So since then your 1st XYZ div can look different that 2nd XYZ div

I have it up in MediaFire for now, but I would be happy for you to host it if gains popularity.

The customized images could help tell which Corps the unit belongs to since I went with brigades & divisions.

Something that I noticed, I'm starting the scenario at the beginning of the month (3 impulses per) and when I end the 1st turn the date jumps to 21 Jan instead of 11 Jan.

How do you get the scenario to recognize its own unit images?

I tried adding a Units images folder in the HEXAGON WILD folder but the scenario defaulted to the original.

If you must use the folder in /gfx then customizing the images probably won't work for me because I'm using Country ID's 1 - 8.

Doomtrater forgot to mention that those features are from 1.03 patch [;)]
I will try to describe them in new thread here today.
