They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico."

Except, as we all know, the war had actually ended by then.

Oh yeah, and thanks for diverting British troops away from Europe so napoleon could hang on to power longer! [:'(]

The Yankees did invade us,
To kill and to destroy,
And to distress our country,
Our peace for to annoy,
Our Countrymen were filled
With sorrow, grief and woe,
To think that they should fall
By such an unnatural foe.

Come all ye bold Canadians,
Enlisted in the cause,
To defend your country,
And to maintain your laws;
Bring all united,
This is the song we'll sing;
Success unto Great Britian
And Save the King!

eh?

The War of 1812, our second war of independence......

You started it you invaded Poland. No, wait, wrong war. You started it, you invaded Canada.

Yeah, but we felt bad about it so we didn't plan for it and used an idiot (Bill Hull).

In famous brothers it's good to have at least one that is competent. Unfortunately, the other, less talented, brothers usually get acclaim or notice merely through bloodlines. The Isaac vs. William Hull thing explains the tragic modern parallels in Stevie vs. Jimmie Ray Vaughan and Sly vs. Frank Stallone.

The real problem was that Hull's iPod was stuck on repeat and kept playing Rush's "Great White North" over and over.

Very welcome, I'm sure.

A sentiment not shared by the remaining 2 or 3 historians who realize this was not the first, nor would it be the last, war instigated by that pack of pinched nosed, money grubbing, brainless, bible pounding, self important, self righteous, God's self annointed scourge, from the New England colonies.

But hey .. so long as somebody else's militia is getting shot, what do those self righteous swine care.

During the war if the New Englad militia could have been bothered to form they would have been more likely to march on Washington than Canada.

We all know the heights to which Rick Moranis's career would fly, but wtf ever happened to Dave Thomas? Last I saw him was as Charlize Theron's dad in a couple of episodes of Arrested Developement.

Awww. I'll still have plenty of time at work to deal with Microsoft products. Its just that now I dont have to deal ith it on my own time. [:D]

What are you using to run Matrx games on it?

Going to try Parallels first. But if that doent cut it, I'll go with Bootcamp (although that does seem like a serious PITA. WitP I'm not worried about. But there are a few other graphics-intensive games I wanted to try.

I use VMWare Fusion on my Macbook Pro. There are several other options, including Parallels Desktop.
