will not run

Just bought the game. It installed ok. Game comes up but when its trying to load a white panel pops up(says mini dump). The game continues and continues to load but nothing? So what gives.

I am running a new gateway desktop machine-AMD Phenom 9750 Quad 2400 mhz 4 core-8 gig ram memory-vista 64-ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card.

Have you tried running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode?

-Right-click on the game shortcut.
-Select "properties".
-Select "Compatibility" tab.
-Check the box for "running in compatibility mode", then in the drop down window select Windows XP(service pack 2).
-Click "ok".

Let us know if that works.

Tried it and it didn't work. Any other ideals? Thanks for the help. The same screen pops up behind the main screen. You can see the outline of the games main screen after the video runs. Still say Mini dump.

I don't have the game or Vista 64-bit, but similar problems happen at the beginning of a game launch for other games when the machine(or operating system) can't play the intro video.

Can you try going into the install directory and look for a folder called "video". If there is one called that, rename it to "video_bak" and then launch the game again. This should launch the game without playing any of the videos. If this doesn't help, then go back in and rename the folder back to "video".

Other ideas would be to uninstall/reinstall, or maybe even re-download. You may have gotten a corrupt install file. Also, try disabling any anti-virus/firewall software before game launch.

I have the same problem! Just bought the game. Download and installation went fine.
I have Win VISTA 32-bit and after the intoduction video, the game freezes and there is
a minidump on screen.
 
I tried setting the compatibility mode to WinXP but got the same result.
I have a highend PC which runs all other games such as Total war 2, and
TOW2 with no problems at all.
 
Is there a patch? Is this a known issue?
My graphics card is NVIDIA GTX295.
 
Please advise as I need to know whetehr I have to return this game for refund.
