If you set your planes to "port attack", they will randomly attack any ships in port (disbanded).
So ships wich are anquared(=disbanded) and if there are task forces the task force mission

Davbaker, I've never seen sub attacks made on disbanded ships in port. I have seen sub attacks made on docked TF's in small ports, as you described, but once they're disbanded I believe you cannot attack them with a sub
Presumably the port authorities have put up anti-torpedo nets around the disbanded (ie at anchor) ships?

The exception to those points are midget subs. They function as a port attack weapon. Hence why they can torpedo the BB's in battleship row at PH, which are disbanded in port.

Not sure exactly where I got this from. At one stage I went through manual and made a table from what I could understand.
Looks Like I'll need to amend it.
