In the demo is save blocked out and are the naval battles that are shown on the screen blocked out? If not how do I get to the naval battles where all of the ships are shown?

Bo, I'm not 100% sure what are you asking about, but every naval group is joining the battle randomly. So even in one Sea Zone there is 100 groups of two sides, there can be a battle with only 5 groups.

First doomtrader I did not ilicit that stupid response from bairdlander, sorry about that. I will reask the question 1- is the game save function absent from the demo?
2- in the naval tutorial you put out it shows ships firing at each other in a naval battle you can pick the firing ship and the ships you want to fire at but in the demo I get none of that, I just get results whether I use nato symbols or figure symbols, is it in the demo and if it is how do I get to that screen, sorry cant ask the questions any different than I have.

Funny. MWIF will be released about the time you finish reading the rules for it. Which is going to be never.

As for SoP demo: You definitely can perform a Pearl Harbor attack, and you can do the naval battles per the description. The Demo is essentially the full game with a time limit, and limited scenarios.

For a carrier attack, bring up the Japanese TF window by clicking on their ship icon in Hawaiian waters, then choose a carrier, and do an air strike on the city of Honolulu, not the port circle.

You are probably right about MWIF GW[&:], never read the rules[:-] The answer you just gave me does not fly, I have attacked Oahu about 15 times now and never hit a US ship and they are in Pearl what gives, and as far as the other I have yet to see this battle arrangement that is shown in the tutorial no matter what icons I use. Are you sure you and I are on the same page, and do you like the game the truth please[;)]

You must be kidding. Read my AARs. I love this game! It's the perfect step down in complexity from WitP, while remaining complex enough to be interesting.

I don't have a clue concerning your problem with the Demo. I do know that you have a uncanny ability to get things going wrong, so .... [:D]

I just fired up the Demo and did an air strike against Pearl, with the results as shown:

Thanks GW you were the only one who knew I had this uncanny ability to get everything wrong[&:] now all the posters know[:@] I still have never hit a ship at Pearl must be Nagumo's fault not mine. is the pbem better than that other game I do not play anymore.

In my opinion the PBEM experience with this game is as good as any I've played. There is the occasional feature that I think needs to be tweaked - such as the abysmally poor ability of tac bombers to hit a ship (but maybe that's due to the early tech level) - but PBEM is where it's at.

An allied player has to be patient in PBEM. The Japanese are definitely going to dominate for a while. And in my current PBEM, I'm beginning to doubt that my Allies are going to recover. The Japanese look unstoppable against my mistakes.

Are you using all 6 carriers? Each carrier in the group has it's own air strike. So select the task force and the first carrier is selected for air strike. Then select the next carrier in the task force and launch it's air strike, and so on.

Question for anyone. Is there a quick way to select all the carriers in a TF at once and launch all air strikes simultaneously?

Have done that over and over and over and have yet to hit a ship based at Pearl. Now you havce to understand I am talking about the demo the actual game might br different.

Yeah right, think back when we were playing TOW how screwed up it was when I did not get bonus ratings or whatever they were called, thats when I stopped playing PBEM. Not your fault but you were making decisions for me, REMEMBER[:-]
