Colonization Question

Post by Rugby9 »

In 1.06 races get a 10% bonus in population for their native planets. If my empire is human but I have planets with different races on them and build colony ships on said world does the 10% population bonus apply (i.e. build a ship on a Ugnari world and colonize an ice planet)? Using the ice world as an example, if the quality is between 40% and 50% will the colony make money if colonized with races that prefer ice yet are in the human empire? Thanks - J

As far as I understand yes.  Say for example you had a Human colony on a Desert planet and some Teekans immigrated to live there too, they would get the bonus for it being their native planet type.

The problem being that the planer don't care about the race it sends to the planet, while it able to colonize the it.
