Small scenarios - Southern Pacific isues

Post by Khanti »

I've just wanted to play non grand campaign scenarios. I've started to play as Japan scenario 4 and discovered that production is OFF, but virtually NO GROUND REPLACEMENTS are set for Japan. It's impossible to play, as my troops will never be replaced. So all loses are absolute. But allied player gets ALL replacements, as per playing standard campaign game.

So my question is: does someone has any replacement scheme for Japan? I think I can manually set replacements for Japan in Editor, but need some clue how many of them would be reasonable.

Anyone played short scenarios? Southern Pacific, Guadalcanal, Manchuria?

There is no such thing as a historically accurate strategy game. Every game stops being accurate from the very first move player make. The first unit that moves ahistorically, first battle with non-historical results, means we ride into the unknown.

i've played some short scenarios... the number of reinforcements is limited... i don't recall about replacements, except for aircraft, and they were pretty thin for the Allies.
