SU front.
Leningrad attackers exhausted themselves [:D]. But besides 6 arty-s my only attacking force inthere are the large group of staff[:)]. Arty bombed units south of the city. And staff launched an attack on exhausted Finns... Results where good and for now Leningrad is safe again [8D].

If i remember right I think the victory conditions where changed for Germany. I believe if Explorer put it into the game, that now all Germany needs is to take the big three to start their victory counter. That would be Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad. We talked about the fact that the victory points for Germany where too high.

I am not 100% sure though so maybe he will respond and let us know.

This is situation somewhere in the middle of my turn. I did some additonal moves so my forces are positioned a little different, but basically this is the picture now.

AGN (lots of SS units) despite it's panzer units is weak and cannot support drive to Moscow/Murmansk atm.
AGC is positioned near Mozahisk but it is faced with well organised ([;)]) and adequate defence. And AGS is in Tula, but lots of theirs divisons are busy down south arround Kharkov/Dnepropetrovsk so they are not serious threat atm neither...

For now Moscow is safe. Units used on attack on IJA are tranposrting to the battlefield and SU is doing ok.[8D]

In China IJA attacked Hanoi with everything they had down there... My defenders endured-barely...[X(]. Now was the time for counterattack or so I reckoned...
First flying tigers did their job very well on the large group of units east of Hanoi...

CAG-s III intercepted and some destroyed... (this is very good for USA[;)]). IJN lost a lots of experienced CAG-s this and last turn...

After that I attacked with 5 of my arty-s. Lost one from enemy fire but additionally softened the target...

Then attack from 3 directions followed but this time my soldiers where to weak to break the enemy... This is the current situation in that area...

That to could prove difficult for GE player... But we need more games to confirm that[;)]

Germany forces hold attacks on all fronts. Time hasc ome to regroup, rethink and refuel. Victory condtions for Germany are too far now to be reached, but we may tray to pin down on us as much enemy as we may so Japan have a chance. So I am loking forward to any west soldier that enter France.
USA unit near brest destroyed completly by LW.They were not protected by fighters and west lose anather tank unit ( 2 med.tanks + inf.)
In Mediteran allied carrier is on the move gain. We canot do much than look at him. I wonder where will he strike.
In East front situation is like this - Germans withrow from suburbs of Leningrad to reorganise. SS core is forming a newline, reffiting the ranks. Same goes to armies near Smolensk.
Limited advance was executed from Dnepropetrovsk and Kiew area. From Kursk direction GE forces crossed the river to the city of Volzshev. I wonder how will SU react to that. Way to inner Russia seems to be open from that side.

Here is the screenshot from the start of JA turn. China soldiers advance, but they are small in numbers so JA decide to strike back.
Units in red circles are bombed by air force, and destroyed. Units in blu cirles are surounded. Blak arrows piont in JA diretion of strike and moves. This time there is no relif force to save the traped one I hope.

Situation near Hanoi was strange. JA push the units west of thecity backa and executed 3way attack on city,but failed again. City was shelled and bembed before attack.
In the middle China leave art unit lightly protected by 3-5 enginerrs, 2 staff and a 1 AT gun. JA tray to get a easy prey but failed.

JA main fleet use diferent tactics this turn. We assumed that USA carrier air will not intercept so we sail close to them and bombed land units in Australia instead of attack on the USA fleet. It was great sucess. I belive that Sydney is safe now. Also few USA subs spoted and destroyed in reinforcements advance toward Australia. Thouse new units that are sailing toward Australia are also responsible to intercept any USA attampt to reduce number of victory points. I hope that they will do the job. But something is smoking on the horisont. IS this new USA fleet approaches? We spot some supplay loss near island of Wake. I wonder.......

Crucial thing in Pacific as in real WW II is to know where is the enemy fleet. I knowingly sacrificed one LR LF to search for them...

Found them near Auckland and mine was anchored near Sidney. I decided that I will try to cut the enemy supply route. Japs have secured Sidney for now and I have moved towards Guadelcanal...

There was another enemy CV II fleet-attack was ordered and here are the results

Now I am one step in front of the Japs fleet... and if he may catch me he can attack but it will not do him any good...

Guadelcanal was in reach and poorly defended so I tried another amphibous assault... I suck at that apperantly...[:(]

My second CV fleet is north a bit... For a few turns I suspected that Cveta has a forward base in Truk (the way he retreated his CV-s after battles near Wake and Ewentak...).

I sent Essex to investigate and I was wright... Another attack was greenlighted.[;)]
And now the Japs will hopefully have a hard time supplying all the way down near Australia/Auckland...
Another IJN CV fleet is spotted near Truk but nothing to worry about-I hope . They have lost good part of his CAG-s III last turn after my FT-III intercepted his bombing attack on Wake...

One convoy of help was given to SU and one SU delegated to China... (Supplies only to CH).

After I looked at maps in SU. I saw an opportunity... Tula was still base for (lets call it) AGS. There was an HQ, Luftwaffe units and a one strong unit defending the city. But only a few hexes north-in Moscow I had a lots of T-34 units ready to go![:)]

Cveta obviously forgot that I can raise bridges as well as destroy them[;)]. Bridge to Tula was repaired and few waves of attacks followed... first one knocking out most of the GE arty-s.

Second wave was needed and I was convinced that this will be the last one needed-as last time Germans barely manage to hold the lines...
But obviously Gerries are very good fighters...

As you can see it is always good to have surplus of strong units ready to attack[:)] and in third wave the city was captured. Few officers escaped but where destroyed with Hq outside of the city...

Cveta this turn ignored the Leningrad completly and went north to Murmansk... Will he continue this push now when he see how strong Moscow really is?

Drive over river to Voronezh is doomed to. Units are wihtout HQ, and over the destroyed bridge... I don't care how strong they are they will retreat or die from starvation...[;)]

In front of the Moscow from Smolensk is a bit of stand off. Nobody wants to go first and die[:D].

Most of LW bombers are in town near Leningrad (forgot the name) will Cveta order another major bombing raid on the city? He would defintely lose much of his airforce but it would bring him the city in a few turns... maybe[:'(].

And they are out of range to bomb units defending Murmansk...

Sevastopol is still mine and doing well, Rostov could fall this turn but GE will not advance further than that...

In China there are constant savage battles over Hanoi front. It seems that this town has some personall value to Cveta and me, maybe something like Hitler and Stalin had over Stalingrad?[:)]

Everyturn is intense and everytime I load the game I wonder will I still hold the city?

Again Flying tigers where sent to strike on enemy arty units (after Indian FT-s III did an initiall raids).
Lost one LB but it went well...
