RE: BLOODY!!!!!! CORAL SEA
I posted the combat report for the last two turns. wave after wave of IJN ships hitting townsville. After our carrier battle I had moved what heavy units that were still operational towards PM thinking that is where the next action would be, so my BB's are out of position to contest Townsville harbor at this point. several carrier air groups that had flown to land bases instead of thier burning flightdecks were moved to townsville this turn and took a heave tool on the IJN units that just will not leave the area. On the water my DD/CL group has gotten in several good shots on the IJN light units that have come into harbor.

Intel update:
Japan's failed opportunity in using their full fighting power to establish dominance in the Coral Sea and in Australia have left them very vulnerable. The USN have landed ENG at Irau and a level 1 airfield have already appeared overnight. IJN failed recon of Nevea and Irau shows the demoralized attitude of pilots. Allied bombers continue to keep the Gili-Gili airfield closed so none of the fragments of squadrons can be withdrawn to Rabaul. The majority of the fleet have been damaged beyond the capabilities of Truk or Rabauls port facilities resulting in the fleet returning to Japan for the remainder of the year. Most of Tokyo is in flames due to the riots and angry mobs storming the government palace for misinforming the general public about the state of current affairs of the War. It is possible that Russia and China will take back territories already claimed by Japan and will then converge on the Japanese Main island.
