Thanks, BPRE. I knew I'd seen something about OOBs somewhere.

Soon enough I'll try a PBEM game. I'll probably get pasted, but at least I understand the mechanics of the game now, for the most part.

One more question: how do you use paratroops? Use Dakotas, select troop transport, destination anywhere within range (even if no airstrip)?

Basically yes. The manual only specifies that it has to be a base hex but since I've only tried it once and that was towards a base with an airstrip I can't say I've proven it (I'm a software tester so I disbelieve everything I haven't seen working with my own eyes:D ). But since the game was released I don't think that the manual has been proven wrong on more than a few occasions I think you can rely on it.
