2 More StuGs are taken out by KVs Stuarts and Armoured Cars. Halftracks are kiled Infantry is Killed. And Katyusas bombard a heavy concentration of Nazis. Artillery will soon Follow:mad:

Hehehe well flanked I must say. I notice my anti-armour capacities are getting low. The partisans were engaged by rear-guard forces and close to extinction.

A Ba-11 and stuart exploded.. should have gone for diesels. A lot of smoke was placed by arty behind my forward trust. The AAA is close to being without ammo, amazingly. Guess 4 tubes eats a lot. Still enough to make it trough to the end, no worries! Ammo truck replacements will not be called for since these are too expensive.

Hmm The Partisans You Are talking about Have Company. Or A Comany actually:) Many partisan squads appear like wraiths out of the woods and Capture your Home VHs. They are now entrenching. With Most of your infantry at the top of the map hiding from my artillery and Marauding Stuarts and BA-11s Digging them out will be difficult.

Two More StuGs perish in Flames in the North, I assume you only have at most a section of those left. To the south infantry and MGs are killed. Mobile Mortars are spotted, An Ammo truck is killed (So you had 4 ammo trucks and an ammo dump, not two) An Il2 takes out a mobile mortar.

As for diesels, I quite agree. So do the t-34(imp)s and tankodesantniki of my mobile reserves (a whole company of Fresh troops that have been sitting and drinking for the game's Duration). As soon as I kill 1 more StuG that situation will change.

P.S. I am quite surprised at how durable Stuarts are against your STuG's. I will now favour them over BT-7ms:D in future games:) Though the 37mm gun sucks, no matter what the encyclopedia says.

A stug exterminates a stuart, another immobilised.. Russian troops advance taking losses. Indeed.. that was one of the last ammo trucks. The others are too far away to make a difference for the nebelwerfers, so they'll keep on suplying the forward forces. In a few turns your losses will mount. I must say that combined arms of infantry/tanks works nicely, I think I'll go for that deployment instead of my current one too. Too bad german tanks have little transport capability.

Okay your advance north runs into vierlings and PaK's. Took out 1 or 2 BA and a stuart there. South a stuart was evacuated and it's crew entered a hail of bullets. Your partisans enjoy a healthy diet of 15 cm shells.

A StuG broke and fled.

Nothing Much Happening. Some Mortar Tracks are killed, A ouple of long range duels are innefective.

Okay the partisans apparently haven't dug in deep enough as 15cm shells drive 'em off. The northern flank seems secured as the southern flank collapses. Several BA's are destroyed by 7.5 cm fire, some AP and a HEAT. Katusha's bombard our arty emplacements. Ammo shortage due to the surgical strikes starts to be fell, as the high calibre guns are emptied. The soviets pay their advance with massive floods of blood. An ad-hoc defense line will be constructed south.

Even tho I'm losing again, this time I'm not totally overrun as previous time.

Moral is at an alltime low, as the commander retreats toward safer locations.

Huh? Thougt I already posted my response..

Your partisans are driven away from my home VH, a KV takes a lot of small callibre AT fire letting it bounce off. Destroyed a BA, and a stuart takes a lot of fire all hitting the front turret instead of the exposed side.

T-34s Rush Forward and Destroy Many AA Guns, wagons AT Guns and Mortar Tracks. An Il2 Strafes a KV to no Effect. Its Flyby info is very helpfull. Expect even more art falling on your last Two Infantry Platoons and Stragglers.

Ah verdamte mahl! Those T-34's are a LOT faster then expected, that flak should be deposited on the hilltop next turn to slow your advance! You don't really like that PaK no? Lot of fire going that way.

Should have taken 7.5 cm PaK instead, maybe. That russian armour is though.

Assaulted a stuart and destroyed it, lost a beob relocating. Drove off some more partisans.

Going on the defensive...

My Topps Kill Mora 20mm AAA and ravage Some Helpless Nebelwerfers. Tanks And Partisns Knock out your Mobile Infantry Guns so next turn the last VHs will be mine and your stuGs will have to enter the dreaded forest to get them. I also kill 2 50mm mortars.

SheiBe, you're right after all me not moving my StuG's from that top, altrough I think I should have moved 'em backwards so to avoid moving close to your infantry, and repositioning afterward. It's late, expect response tomorrow.

Yep, I'll lose. 've been too careless with those ammo trucks, should have kept 'em safer untill they were needed.

Not that that was the only error.

Good battle, and I'm happy this time it wasn't a totally easy walk for you.
Didn't do much this turn, mainly bombardment. Only 2 more turns to mop up for you.

Did better this time. Took all the VH and have a Marginal Victory.

Amazing, thought it would be a draw with you more points. You must have raked quite some points in that final overrun with your T34's.

I must say a good fight, taught me quite some things about waging war. Even tho those reserves didn't enter the fight till the final few turns, those really cut like a hot knife trough butter my battered troops. Note to self: Not to press an advance if the terrain is good defensive for the opposition.
